    We are looking for highly motivated, team players for our Navigation, Audio-Visual, and Communication Departments, as well as for our Monitoring & Control, and AC/DC Electrical Systems departments.

    We are a well established local company that sells, services, installs, and repairs equipment for a wide range of manufacturers, in all electrical, navigation, communication, audio visual, monitoring and control, and more on yachts.

    Job requirements include but are not limited to:

    • Experience with complex yacht systems - programming, installation, troubleshooting
    • Marine Certified with 3+ years experience on Yachts in one the following fields: Marine Electrical, Electronic, Communication, Audio Visual Installation and Troubleshooting
    • ABYC or NMEA Certified is required
    • Electronics/Electrical Bachelor with excellent GPA (in progress is fine, if well advanced)

    Previous experience is required, as is fluent written and spoken English. Bilingual in Italian or Spanish is a plus but not mandatory.

    Pay is commensurate with skills and experience.

    This is a full time year round position with a growing company and includes the following benefits:

    Yacht Technician Apprentice and Warehouse Assistant

    We are looking to hire an individual at our Fort Lauderdale location for the role of Yacht Technician Apprentice and Warehouse Assistant. If you are a team player, love yachts, are open to learning new skills, and want to grow with a company then this job is for you!

    As a Yacht Technician Apprentice, this person will learn how to do a variety of marine electronic jobs while assisting our expert technicians in-house or in-field. These jobs include but are not limited to navigation electrical and electronics.

    As a Warehouse Assistant, this person will also perform an array of functions that may include maintaining warehouse equipment and keeping areas clean. 

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

    • Keeping warehouse organized and clean and maintaining equipment.
    • When needed, assist technicians for in-house or on yachts tasks.  
    • Maintains safe and clean work environment by keeping shelves, pallet area, and work stations neat; sweep, dust and mop.
    • Organize warehouse and work area for orderliness at all times
    • Wear the proper safety equipment
    • Perform warehouse functions, receiving, storing, shipping

    Qualification Requirements:

    • Willingness to learn new skills
    • High School diploma or equivalent preferred
    • 1-2 yrs previous small business warehouse experience preferred
    • Good communication, organizational, time management mathematical skills
    • Dependable and Reliable
    • Inventory, Equipment maintenance, data entry and computer skills may be required
    • Proficient in use of basic hand and power tools
    • Have a valid Driver’s License and clean driving record

    Physical Demands and Abilities:

    • Regularly required to use hands to finger, handle or feel, reach with hands and arms and talk or hear
    • Regularly lift and/or move objects 10-50lbs occasionally lift and/or move objects that weigh more than 100 lbs.
    • Frequently required to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl
    • Occasionally required to sit and climb or balance
    • Specific vision abilities required for this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust and focus.

    Fluent written and spoken English is required. Bi-Lingual in Italian or Spanish is a plus.

    Please note that salary is commensurate on experience.
